Is Sembot CSS really free?

Yes, completely free. Sembot's business model does not require any fees from retailers for the CSS. We are able to provide free of charge as we have other paid products and services. CSS for retailers gives us credibility and branding on the market. That's why we are able to provide free CSS to retailers and get the market positioning thanks to it.

Do I have to change anything in Google Merchant Center?

You don't have to change anything in the settings yourself. The only change is linking your Merchant Center Account with Sembot CSS — we set it up with Google for you. Your feeds, settings and campaigns stay unchanged. You only get the bidding power and additional free traffic leverage.

How quickly will I see results?

From the first day after CSS activation. Activation takes 24–48 hours from the moment of registration and Merchant Center verification. Once CSS is enabled, your budget immediately has more bidding power. With Smart Bidding you will see this as more conversions for the same budget, not as lower costs.

What is the "By Sembot" label visible in the ads?

It is small text appearing below a product ad in Google Shopping, required by EU regulations on comparison shopping services (CSS). When Sembot CSS clicking on By Sembot field, it takes them to the search results on Sembot CSS. This click is free - you don't pay for it. Then user can click on any of the products displayed for that search phrase (your product that they saw on the ad in most cases), this click is also free for you.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. No long-term commitments. You can opt out of CSS at any time without any financial consequences or the need to observe a notice period.

Do you support my country?

Sembot CSS works in all European Union countries and in the EEA. Additionally, in 2026 we are launching support for 15 new markets: Bundle 1 (July 2026): Cyprus, Luxembourg, Moldova, North Macedonia, Malta, Liechtenstein. Bundle 2 (November 2026): Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Estonia, Latvia.
